Gazetteer
This section delves into the places, people and creatures of the Scarred Lands.
Ghelspad is one of several continents in the world of Scarn. Climate ranges from warm semi-arid in the South to sub-arctic in the North. A huge mountain range called the Kelders bisects the continent.

Vesh, the Plains of Lede, the Kelder Steppes and the Celestial Shelf dominate the portion of Ghelspad to the North-East of the Kelder Mountains.

The North-East of Ghelspad is dominated by Mithril and Vesh. Mullis Town occupies an advantageous position midway between the two powers.
Vesh
This kingdom stands between the people of the North-East and the evil power of Calastia. The Vigils of Vesh are known to act in all areas of Ghelspad, regardless of the distance from Vesh.
The people of Vesh are known to be good, industrious, and capable of enjoying themselves. The Vigil has made it possible for them to survive, and yet have time and energy for the enjoyment of life through the arts, education and travel.
Politically, it is said that all interests are Vesh's interests.
Mithril
Mithril is the City of Paladins, dedicated to Corean, the God of Paladins. The gigantic Mithril Golem stands guard over this city perched on cliffs overlooking the Blood Sea, and Kadum's final resting place. Legend holds that the Golem, Corean's creation, held Kadum's tail for a moment, giving the gods just enough time to defeat The Mountainshaker.

Mullis Town lies between Vesh and Mithril, at the end of a 200 mile long paved road that leads from Mithril. Trade is booming, and Mullis Town has doubled its size in the past five years.
A newcomer to the Vesh/Celestial plateau area, Dammed town sprang up 12 years ago when the dam started construction. Designed by engineers, clerics and wizards, the dam holds back Kadum's Blood tides and has allowed communities on the Hornswythe River to flourish. The lake, once known as Blood Basin, is now clean and filled with life.
periodic raids from the Blood Sea make this place interesting at times, but all of the nations up-river from the dam have agreed to provide garrisons to keep the peace and keep the Titanspawn out.
